In this Level -3 course participants will build on the foundation created in Level -2. After completion of this course, participants are able to understand the physical loads on the Distribution system and the associated hardware, read DOT projects, class poles, design for special buying situations, calculate sag and create a stringing chart, estimate sag on uneven terrain, and will be able to design for crossing under transmission lines.

Engineer Technicians, Engineers, Stakers, Journeyman Lineman, Line Construction personnel, Design Engineers.

Course Materials:
Students are required to bring their trigonometric functions calculator (ex.TI-30X), protractor, scale, NESC Code Book. It is recommended that students bring pencils (regular and color), paper, highlighters, and tabs for marking important tables.
Cancelation Policy :
Cancellations after March 7 will be charged 25% of the registration fee. No shows will be charged 50% of the registration fee.
