Level II study is designed to accommodate technicians with a minimum of one year of line design experience. Level 1 certification is recommended before entering the Level II program. After completion of this course, participants will be able to complete the layout and design of most overhead and underground projects, understand and utilize NESC and other design criteria, evaluate and design joint use facilities, and calculate the mechanical loading effects of line design.
