Workshop overview
In this Level I workshop participants will gain a strong foundation necessary to help them advance in he field of line design and staking. After completion of this course, participants are able to complete overhead and underground service conductor sizing, residential transformer sizing, short single-phase line extensions, calculate accurate guy leads for both angle and dead end situations, interpret and implement sag charts in clearance design, and evaluate the NESC. 

Learn the basics of overhead and underground design and staking that is typically expected of beginning staking personnel, including:

$1,300 per person for FMEA utility and associate members 
$1,400 per person for non-members

Course Materials:
Students will be provided with a course guide, a trigonometric functions calculator (ex. TI-30X) protractor, an engineer’s scale and a copy of the current NESC to keep. Students should bring notebook paper, pencils, highlighters and tabs for marking tables.  

Cancelation Policy :
Cancellations after March 1, 2010, will be charged 25% of the registration fee. No shows will be charged 50% of the registration fee.
