FMEA Statewide Conferences and Trade Shows

FMEA Associate Members enjoy discounted registration, sponsorship opportunities and speaking opportunities in statewide conferences, trade shows, workshops and competitions in which Florida's electric utilities regularly participate.

FMEA-FMPA Annual Conference — More than 400 utility directors, general managers and city leaders from Florida's municipal utility industry attend this 3-day event held annually in the summer. Event activities include: expert speakers and panels, workshops, golf and tennis tournaments, and several networking events.

Utility Education & Trade Show Days — Utility Education & Trade Show Days UED brings together professionals from the energy industry for top-notch speakers and topics and the latest in utility products and services. The convenient one-day format allowed utility staff to keep travel costs low, while receiving high-value training.

A table display at this event for an FMEA Associate Members is $475. For a non-member it is $675.

The Florida Lineman Competition — The Florida Lineman Competition is a competitive event in which utility line workers demonstrate their skills, knowledge and teamwork regarding the dangerous profession of electric line work in a safe and educational environment. Associate members receive sponsorship opportunities and vendor discounts. The Competition features around-the-competition-site exhibiting space for vendors wanting to showcase their products and services to Florida's T&D line worker and utility safety community.

Vendor space on the field and at the Welcome Reception is $450 for FMEA Associate Members and $600 for non-members.

In addition to exhibitor opportunities, sponsoring the FMEA-FMPA Annual Conference, Energy Connections Conference and Trade Show, the Florida Lineman Competition or Utility Training Workshops is a great way for utility officials to match your face and name with your products and services. FMEA Associate members receive:

• 10 percent off second sponsorships.

Webinars

The FMEA webinar training program is a service that provides FMEA Utility and Associate Members with high-quality education and training without leaving the office. The webinar training program offers a broad range of industry related training programs and roundtable discussion meetings to help keep participants up-to-date on the latest legislative activity, industry best-practices, customer service, billing and collection trends, industry safety requirements and other topics.

Webinar participants gain insight and knowledge to help them in their careers and assist their electric utilities. FMEA Associate are invited to submit Webinar Presentations. As a webinar presenter you will be a part of this educational initiative to electric utility professionals.
